Bockwurst A boiled sausage, made from finely ground pork or a pork and beef mixture. They are smoked and seasoned with a variety of seasonings. Pink in color.They come in small 30g sizes to 200g huge sausages.

Heat the sausage in hot, not boiling, water for 5 minutes. Best eaten with mustard and bread.
History
Created in 1889 by pub-owner Richard Scholtz. He served his sausage with Bockbier (bock-beer), so the sausage became known as the Bockwurst.
