Limburger Vesper
(Limburger Snack)
1 lb Limburger Cheese
3 Tablespoons Oil
4 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
1 Pinch Sugar
2 Small Onions, Raw (cut into rings)
2 Tomatoes (sliced)
1 Pickle (sliced)
1 Bundle Watercress
1 Bundle Parsley
Cut the Limburger Cheese into slices and divide slices evenly onto 4 plates.
In a bowl, mix oil, vinegar, pepper, and sugar. Drizzle over cheese slices.
Divide the onion rings, tomato slices, and pickle slices evenly and add them as a garnish to each plate. Likewise, add watercress and parsley to each plate.
Goes well with tomato-salad, as well as with butter and bread. To drink, choose a red wine or beer.
