Wasserweck

Also Known As:   Doppelweck, Paarweck

A Wasserweck is a bread roll made of wheat flour. It is formed by baking two smaller rolls side-by-side, giving it a double roll ("Doppelweck") shape.

Wheat flour, water, sourdough, salt

Serving Suggestions
Wasserweck are very versatile. They can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They go well with cheese, wurst, bratwurst, as well as butter and jam.

Wasserweck do not have a long shelf life. They taste best the day they were baked.
