Handkäse mit Musik (Marinated Handkäse)

Ingredients

1 Handkäse Roll (7 - 8 oz)
8 tablespoons Vinegar
4 tablespoons Oil
4 tablespoons Water
3 Onions
Salt, Pepper to taste
Carraway Seeds

Instructions

Mix vinegar, oil, and water together. Season marinade with salt and pepper. Sprinkle in carraway seeds. Slice the onions and add them to marinade.

Soak the Handkäse in the marinade for at least one hour.

Traditionally served with Bauernbrot and Apple Wine or a dry white wine.
