| I have a bread machine which asks for frans krokant flour in quite a few recipes. What type of flour is this? What alternative can I use? |

"Frans Krokant" flour is a flour made in Holland by the company Soezie. It is used for making breads like french breads, ciabatta, and crispy rolls. We are not familiar with this flour but would recommend using either regular bread flour or a "European blend" bread flour available at many specialty baking stores. |
