A Doppelweck is a bread roll made of wheat flour. It is formed by baking two smaller rolls side-by-side, giving it a double roll ("Doppelweck") shape.

Doppelweck are very versatile. They can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They go well with cheese, wurst, bratwurst, as well as butter and jam.

Doppelweck do not have a long shelf life. They taste best the day they were baked.
